Our services are informed by the CARE Model, a trauma-informed practice model with roots at Cornell University based on six core principles that create successful outcomes. We are one of only 50 agencies nationally committed to this model.

From our founding as an orphanage in 1895 from the former Evangelical and Reformed Church to one of the largest health and human service agencies in Illinois, we’ve been built on purpose to provide comprehensive care to all communities.
Our Impact: Team and Client Stories
Anthony, Youth Counselor
Having a tough upbringing myself, I can relate to these children. This is an opportunity for me to help them grow as young adults. It takes patience, empathy and care, and Hoyleton has been there to support me every step of the way.
Being a social worker for years, I was told about the opportunities at Hoyleton and how much they do for employees when it comes to career growth and support. I know I’m at the right place to work with families to help them thrive.
Coming to Hoyleton was the best career move I could make. I love that it is faith-based and family oriented. The continued education program makes it a great organization to grow with and allows me to be my best while helping the people who need it most.
