HOW WE CAN HELP
Our Counseling Services
Our counselors provide trauma-informed mental health support across Southern Illinois to youth and families who are facing emotional, behavioral, or situational challenges
We deliver confidential mental health support directly in the school setting
Hoyleton provides confidential school-based counseling in Southern Illinois, offering licensed counselors on campus to help students manage anxiety, depression, and peer issues. Services are available for elementary through high school students in both English and Spanish.
Flexible care that meets youth and families where they live
Community-Based Counseling offers flexible and accessible mental health services to individuals and families of all ages, provided in homes, public places, or Hoyleton's office, and is available to individuals eligible for Medicaid.
Supporting youth placements with connection to services and resources
The Wraparound Program supports youth and families involved with child welfare services by helping them build problem-solving skills, strengthen family and community support systems, and access financial assistance to stabilize youth placements. This program is available to clients with active involvement through DCFS.
Outpatient support for individuals facing life's emotional and mental challenges
Specialized programs address mental health needs with additional support through case management, crisis intervention, and psychoeducation utilizing evidence-based approaches. In-office (or virtual) counseling is available for individuals or families, along with access to Family Therapy, Art Therapy, and Play Therapy Rooms.
A Holistic Approach to Wellness and Counseling Care
At Hoyleton, therapy means caring for the whole person. Discover how our team uses the 8 Dimensions of Wellness to support healing—emotionally, physically, and spiritually—through compassionate, trauma-informed care.
Flexible, Trusted Support for Life's Challenges
Hoyleton partners with Southern Illinois schools to give students on-campus access to licensed counselors. Through trauma-informed, personalized care, we help youth manage anxiety, depression, and peer challenges, building the resilience they need to thrive.
