Building Hope Through Integrated Care

At Hoyleton Youth & Family Services (HYFS), we believe lasting change happens when care addresses the whole person, not just a single challenge. Through an integrated behavioral health model, our team provides coordinated mental health services, family services, crisis intervention, and community-based support designed to help children, youth, adults, and families achieve long-term wellness.

HYFS continues to grow and evolve, adding new programs and services based on the needs of our community. Guided by a holistic approach and an integrated care model, our goal is to help clients achieve the wholeness of life by addressing all dimensions of wellness when creating their customized care plan.

What Is Integrated Behavioral Health Care?

Integrated behavioral health care is a collaborative approach that brings together mental health services, family support, crisis intervention, and community resources to address the whole person, not just a single challenge or diagnosis. Rather than treating emotional, behavioral, or social concerns in isolation, integrated care recognizes that long-term well-being depends on meeting a person's unique needs across multiple areas of life.

In recent years, Hoyleton has expanded access to behavioral health services throughout southern Illinois by strengthening mobile crisis response, enhancing community-based support teams, increasing collaboration with healthcare providers, and developing stronger partnerships with schools, families, and local organizations.

These coordinated services allow individuals to receive timely support before challenges become larger crises while creating long-term plans for recovery and wellness.

“These additions and enhancements to our comprehensive behavioral health model keep us focused on our goal of achieving better outcomes for the youth and families we serve,” said Hoyleton Youth and Family Services President and CEO Chris L. Cox.

We will continue to invest in our facilities and staff, to ensure that the care we provide is coordinated, compassionate, and sustainable for the future. Every step we take reflects our commitment to meeting people where they are and walking with them toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Building Stronger Communities Together

With the support of donors and community partners, HYFS is building stronger communities and offering hope when and where it’s needed most.

As the needs of Illinois families continue to evolve, Hoyleton Youth & Family Services remains committed to expanding access to compassionate, coordinated behavioral health care. Through integrated services, dedicated staff, community partnerships, and generous donor support, HYFS continues building healthier individuals, stronger families, and more resilient communities throughout southern Illinois.
